David "Dave" Freier

Dave Freier, age 80 of Hugo, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026 at home while surrounded by family.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children Shelly (Greg) Larson, Peter (Kristina), Steve (Krista), Brent (Angela), and Holly (Seth) Krachmer; stepchildren Brett (Kris) Pappas and Carissa Pappas; 9 grandchildren; 5 stepgrandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Engineer at Union Pacific Railroad for 41 years. Dave enjoyed bowling, golfing, walking his dog, and playing cards. He and Carol just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
A Celebration of Life will be held at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake on Wednesday, April 1 at 11 AM with visitation beginning one hour prior. Reception to follow.
