Clayton Edward Michaels

Passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, at the age of 92, in North Oaks, Mn. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Geraldine T. Dosser, his parents, George R. and Armorel A. (Juaire) Michaels, his brother Robert G. Michaels, and his sister Geraldine A. Mandel. He is survived by his loving children: Clayton Jr. (Suzanne), John (Mary), Jennifer (Francis) Satnik; his grandchildren Lisa (Charles) Kema, Clayton III (Carla), James (Sarah), Christopher Michaels and Raymond and Gordon Satnik; and his great-grandchildren Jason and Kaylee Michaels, and Kingston and Kalena Kema.

Clayton was a devoted husband with a sincere heart for his bride whom he loved greatly over their 67 years of married life. As a brilliant patriarch he demonstrated strength and love to his immediate and extended family. He was a role model in his love for Christ at Sacred Heart Church in St Paul and of his work ethic with his early years as a composer of music scores, then English and band teacher before transitioning to the Great Northern and Burlington Northern railroads where he helped lead them in early advancement of computer systems. Through his life he made us all rich.

With his passing we are poorer. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral service at 11am on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at ST MARY OF THE LAKE CHURCH, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Visitation before the service, beginning at 10am. Following the Mass a luncheon will be served at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue.  Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, 2980 Helen St, North St Paul, MN 55109.
