Cecilia "Ceil" Wilde

Cecilia A "Ceil" Wilde (nee Kukla) Loving Wife, Mother, Grammy and Sister Born April 27, 1938 in Waukegan, Il and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Sun July 25, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Stella Kukla and daughter, Amy Hansmann. Survived by husband of 61 years, Art Wilde; children, Julie Jefferson (Kevin) Of Locust Grove, Ga, Andy (Susan) Wilde, Robert Wilde and Michael (Amy) Wilde; son-in-law, Doug Hansmann; 10 grandchildren, Jacob, Kimberly, Matthew, and Benjamin Hansmann, Sara and Michelle Wilde, Payton Wilde, Neila Max, Cota MacLain, and Alexandra Jefferson; 5 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Joan) Kukla from Naperville, Il/Tennessee and many special nieces, nephews and god-children. Ceil was a full-time wife and mother for many years. After the children were in school, she worked a variety of PT jobs: EKG tech, bank teller, real estate receptionist, ACCW secretary, and chiropractic assistant. She served as a discussion leader for Confirmation groups within the Catholic Church and was a member of the Archdiocesan Counsel for Catholic Women, the Pro-Life, and library committees at the Maternity of Mary Church. She always had a smile on her face and loved to sing with joy in her heart. She never met a stranger and she could light a room with her smile. She will be missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 31st at St. Pius Church 3878 Highland Ave, White Bear Lake with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
