Age 90 of White Bear Lake, formerly of Monticello
Carole was born on July 1, 1936, in Austin, MN. She passed away on August 10, 2026 in White Bear Lake, MN. Carole and her husband Blaine Nobbs both grew up in Austin, MN. They met when they were both attending Austin Junior College. The couple married at St. Augustine Church, in Austin, MN on July 11, 1959 and enjoyed a loving partnership for 56 years until Blaine's passing in 2014. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy, sharing many interests, including their passion for golf and traveling.
Professionally, Carole dedicated her career to the healthcare industry. She began her career working for Poirer Drug. Later she worked as a Clinic Manager for Monticello Clinic, and continued on to work for North Memorial. A devout member of the Catholic faith, Carole and her husband were active members of St. Henry Catholic Church in Monticello for many years. After relocating to White Bear Lake, she became a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.
Carole was known for her joyful spirit and positivity. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Gladys & Frank Ihrke; husband, Blaine Nobbs; siblings, Phyllis Oldeburg, Dale Ihrke, and Keith Ihrke. Carole is survived by her children, Teri (John) Kast, Kurt Nobbs, and Danielle (Jared) Hillsdale; grandchildren, Joseph Nobbs, Kayla Nobbs, Nolan Hillsdale, Alyssa Armstrong, Mackenzie Adamson, and Peter Kast; and 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held 11am Wednesday, August 26 at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with visitation starting at 10am. Reception to follow. Carole will be laid to rest at St. Henry's Cemetery, Monticello at a later date.
