Passed away on January 7, 2026 at Gable Pines in Vadnais Heights. Carole was born on Novemeber 5, 1943 in Owattona, MN. She received her Master's in Education from MN State University, Mankato. Carole spent her career as a teacher at Gulfview and Otter Lake Elementaries. She was very hardworking and cared for all of her students. She loved to spend her free time gardening, reading, and of course watching the MN Vikings. Carole was adventurous, witty, and sarcastic in the best way. Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Alice (Gerns) Jacobsen; husband, Glen Bjornson; sister, Mary Alice Krick (Jacobsen); niece, Natalie Krick. Survived by son, Bart Bjornson; daughter-in-law, Annette Bjornson (Tuckner); granddaughter, Emma Bjornson; nephews, Shane and Lafe Krick; niece, Rachel Bumgarner; best friend, Karen Colwell (Rice). Celebration of Life will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake. Memorials preferred to Catholic Charities Twin Cities.
