Carol Larkey

Carol J Larkey, age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2021 in her home in St. Paul. Carol was born in St. Paul as the fourth of six children. Carol loved to delight friends, family and neighbors with her wonderful cooking and delicious desserts. She could grow almost anything and she was proud of her beautiful yard and thriving potted plants. Carol is survived by children Gerry Curran, Tom Rowan, Patty Paton, Mike Larkey, Doug Larkey and Jim Larkey. Carol is a proud grandmother to 11 grandkids and many great and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents George C Smart and Adella Dutry Smart Nicholson and the love of her life John W Larkey, “The Great John L”. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Mueller Memorial- St. Paul, 835 Johnson Parkway, with a time for sharing memories beginning at 12:00 PM. Instead of flowers, Carol would want you to express your love to those you value. If you wish to honor Carol with an additional expression of sympathy, the family asks for donations to a charity of your own choosing or the Susan B Komen Foundation.
