Carl Rask

Carl Norman Rask, 82, of Woodbury, formerly of St. Paul’s Eastside, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife, Carol; son, David (Nicole) Rask of Cottage Grove, MN; grandchildren, Avery and Elliot Rask; and brother, Ronald (Sandra) Rask. Carl was born in St. Paul on June 11, 1939 to Norman and Anna Rask. He graduated from Harding High School and on April 25, 1970, he married Carol McDermott. He worked for 43 years at West Publishing. Carl was involved with Our Saviors Lutheran Church LCMS and he enjoyed camping and fishing up near Brainerd. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 674 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with visitation an hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
