August 20, 1938 — September 3, 2025
BRUCE JOHNSON, Beloved Husband, Partner, Father, and Grandpa of Oakdale, MN. Bruce passed away in his home surrounded by family on September 3, 2025, at the age of 87.
Bruce was a talented mechanical engineer, who in his free time enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends, especially at his cabin on Sturgeon Lake. Bruce was also an active member of his church, House of Prayer in Oakdale, MN and donated his time to the North St. Paul Area Food Shelf.
He is preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Abbie Lou (Larson) Johnson.
He is survived by loving partner, Ginny Johnson; children, Steve Johnson, Dawn (Chris) Soderholm, and Laura (James) Fraser; five grandchildren; and brother, Neal (Ellen) Johnson.
Services to be held at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, September 9 at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 6039 40th St N. Oakdale, MN 55128, with visitation starting at 4:30 PM. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to House of Prayer Lutheran Church.
