Bruce Campbell passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2026 in West St. Paul, Minnesota. He is survived by his two sons Daniel and Conlan Campbell. Visitation will take place at Mueller Funeral Home in St. Paul on Wednesday, August 12 from 4-6pm, with Time of Sharing starting around 5pm.
He was born with bright red hair on St. Patrick's Day, 1957 to two proud Montanans, Eugene and Mary Ann Campbell who were abroad in North Chicago, Illinois. Him and his two brothers, Gregory and Bradley, were raised around the world due to their father's Navy career, including anchors up in Taiwan, Morocco, and ultimately Inver Grove Heights where he spent his youth.
Bruce was deeply passionate about a wide variety of subjects and had an undeniable curiosity about the world that surrounded him. It was not uncommon to find him nose-deep in a book of poetry or a neuroscience textbook. More than anything he loved to converse. No matter where he went he was able to find someone to talk to and something they were interested in talking about.
Bruce also found great joy in exercise - biking, weightlifting, walking, tennis - it was rare a day went by that he didn't find himself outdoors appreciating nature. In the mornings he would wake early to catch the sunrise and "catch up on his prayers" - where he contemplated and wished the best for everyone he knew, living and dead.
He lived a full life and is deeply loved and missed.
