Brian was born in St. Paul MN on April 1 st 1957, to Ann (Lukaseski) and Edward Rembish. He was the fourth of five children. He spent his childhood being adored and lovingly tormented by his four sisters. As a child he attended St. Pascals Catholic School, graduated high school from Cretin-Derham Hall and finished his education with a BA in Chemistry at the University of St. Thomas.

Brian went on to fulfill his dreams of working at 3M in 1992 where he led the team that helped develop and commercialize the 3M DryView film, a career accomplishment he was very proud of. This would lead to further opportunities to work in medical imaging at Imation and Kodak. In 2003 he pivoted and started his own business, Medtech Leadership, as a management consultant. During this time, he also worked as an adjunct professor at St. Thomas teaching a capstone course. The last of his professional accomplishments took place at St. Cloud State University where he assisted in the creation of multiple Masters programs.

Brian met his wife Brenda in Paris, France in 1985. Although they lived across the country from each other back home in the US, the spark they ignited that week would lead them to almost a year of long distance, falling in love over letters sent back and forth. Eventually they married in Minnesota in 1988 where they built the house they would live in for the next 38 years and where they would welcome their adopted daughter in 1994.

Brian had many passions in life beyond his professional interests. He loved astronomy, camping in the boundary waters, exploring national parks, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, golfing, watching movies, playing games with family and friends and of course solving Sudoku puzzles. He had a strong Catholic faith and attended mass every Sunday up until his passing.

Memorials contributions can be made to Friends Of The Boundary Waters or St. Pascals Catholic Church.
