Betty Jane Frohrib Obituary
Born on February 13, 1930 she passed to her Lord on May 13, 2025 at the age of 95 years. Formerly of St. Paul and Oshkosh, WI, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Darrell A. Frohrib. Survived by children Ellen Wingfield (Jeff), Sandra Wills (Lorance) and Paul Frohrib (Mary); 4 grandchildren Corey Wills (Martha), Phil Wills (Mia) Danielle Munns (Aaron) and Max Wingfield; 7 great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Betty met Darrell in Junior High School; they married in 1955 in Oshkosh. Betty held a variety of positions, she has been a homemaker, a medical and a dental assistant, a newsletter editor, an employee of a funeral home, and worked with the "Women's Advocates Group" a refuge to connect women with emergency housing and information. Since the advocate shelter opened their doors until she moved in 2000 (and beyond when she could get back there), Betty was delivering requested items. She would go to garage sales early every Thursday, Friday and Saturday gathering much needed blankets and lightly used household items and clothing.
Her hobbies included refinishing antique furniture and garage sale hunting. Betty loved to lift people's spirits with small gifts such as home-made soups, breads, bibles, cards and knick-knacks. She sang soprano beautifully in the church choir and at weddings and funerals. Always a devoted church goer, Betty loved her Lord. She is now singing with the angels.
