FOLEY BARBARA ANN

Age 95, of White Bear Lake MN passed away on July 27 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband David Foley, her father, Euell McDaniel and her mother Mary Ethel McDaniel (Spruill). She is survived by her children, Kevin (Sally) Foley, Melissa (William) Collins, William (Jennifer) Foley, John (Carla) Foley, Thomas Foley, Mark Foley and Sarah (Steve) Wolsfeld, grandchildren Katie Foley, Sheila Foley, Joshua Winger, Rachael Goblirsch, Sam Winger, Michaela Foley, Kathryne Foley, Ben Foley, Bridget Foley, McDaniel Foley, Reegan Foley, Lauren Foley, Avery Foley, Megan Foley, Morgan Foley, Elizabeth Wolsfeld and David Wolsfeld and great grandsons Silas Winger, Miles Winger, Felix Winger, Oscar Winger, Eli Goblirsch and Jack Goblirsch.

Barbara grew up in the depression and was the daughter of an oil field foreman. Her family moved throughout oil field country, living in several states. After graduating from the University of Missouri at Columbia, she worked as a flight attendant for Braniff airlines. She transferred to Minneapolis and met her future husband. Barbara was an only child who raised 7 children. She was very proud of her children and they will always be very proud of her. She loved sewing and became an accomplished quilter. She was a founding member of the "Ladies of the Lake" quilting club. She loved music and participated in Church choirs at St Leo's, St Jude's and St Mary's Catholic churches. Even in her final days she could still sing songs from memory. She will be missed.

Special thanks to all of her care givers at the Memory Care Unit at Harbor Crossing in White Bear Lake and her hospice team. You made this journey a lot easier for her family.

Funeral mass will be at 11 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake MN on Wednesday August 7 2024 with visitation  at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Catholic Charities.
