Avery Jo Hinrichs, 4, tragically passed away on March 21, 2026, along with her mother, Jessica “Jessi” Hinrichs, and siblings, Hudson and Cayden.
Avery was born June 30, 2021, in Maplewood, MN, to parents Michael and Jessica Hinrichs. She attended daycare with her friends and was very excited to attend Wildwood Elementary in the fall of 2026. Avery loved to follow her brothers around and play outside with chalk and swing on the swing set. She loved to play with her brothers but also loved her independence.
From day one, Avery was the definition of a little princess. She almost always had a princess dress and tiara on and would be asking her mom to do her nails. She had her dad wrapped around her little finger and would often be allowed to stay up later than her brothers for extra cuddle time.
From the moment she could stand, Avery was quite the dancer. She would always be dancing to the music on the TV or mom’s radio and just loved her dance class with her friends. One of her favorite memories was dancing in front of her family at her recital on the big stage.
Avery was so imaginative and would often be found playing family with her toy babies, wrapping them in blankets for nap time, or making sure they ate their vegetables. Avery loved to be with her family, playing with her brothers, snuggling up with mom and dad on the couch, taking trips to see her grandparents and cousins, and hanging out with her aunts and uncle. She was a natural entertainer, and everyone she was around just adored her.
Avery is survived by her father, Michael Hinrichs; grandparents, John and Kim Pierce, and Donna Hinrichs; great-grandmother, Mary Moehrle; uncles, Rich (Kristy) Pierce, Nick Pierce, and Jonah Hinrichs; aunts, Mary Hinrichs and Melissa Hinrichs; and cousins, Johnny Pierce, David Pierce, and Olivia Hinrichs.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ervin Hinrichs; uncle, Aaron Hinrichs; great-grandparents, Jim “Papa” and JoAnn “Gamma” Sirois; great-grandparents, Chuck and Dale Pierce; great-grandmother, Darlene Clark; great-grandfather, Robert “Bob” Moehrle; and great-grandparents, Ervin Hinrichs and Henrietta Smith.
