Arlene Godbout

Godbout, Arlene R., 90, of White Bear Lake, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by husband, Dave; son, Chris; brother, Bob Tippel; and sister, Diane Swensen. She is survived by, sons, David (Carole), Pat, (Kathy), and Mark (Joanne); daughter-in-law, Liz; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry and Jim Tippel; dear friend of 74 years, Gloria Carpenter; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Arlene grew up on the Eastside of Saint Paul where she graduated from Johnson High School. On November 27, 1954 she married David Godbout, and they were married for 45 years until his passing in 1999. Arlene enjoyed playing games of all kinds, especially cards and dominoes, and visiting the Casino. Time with family and friends was everything to Arlene. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the memories they shared together. Arlene especially loved the visits to the lake and staying at the Cabin. Her love and warmth will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, WBL, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to follow.
